A vingt ans Fred ouvrait pour son mentor BB King avant d'accompagner dans les années 90' les étoiles du Blues: Joe "Guitar" Hughes au Texas, Lil Ed & the Blues Imperials et Maurice John Vaughn à Chicago. Ces  personnalités d'exception vont influencer directement son style riche et orginal ainsi que son  approche ludique et sensuelle de la scène. Egalement danseur de Claquettes, Slameur, plasticien, ce touche-à-tout baroudeur est avant tout complètement immergé dans le BLUES, qu'il soit du Mississippi, de Chicago, du Texas, Zydeco, du Mali, de l'île de La Réunion, des Caraïbes ou des terrils de Saint-Etienne. Il a travaillé aux côtés de Donald Ray Johnson, Zora Young, Terry Bean, Tre & the BluesKnights, Shirley Johnson, Shanna Waterstown, Corey Harris, Boney Fields, Eddie Taylor Jr, True Praise (Gospel New-Yorkais), Sylvia Howard, ainsi qu'avec le roi du Mbalax sénégalais Sallam Diallo.
                Aussi à l'aise à la guitare qu'à l'harmonica, voix de crooner, excellent showman, il communique instantanément à son public un plaisir de jouer évident et vous fait (re)découvrir la magie du "Talkin' Blues", du "Whoopin'" à la Sonny Terry  et du Scat à la Georges Benson.

Fred Brousse began his career opening for his mentor BB King at age of 20. He met Chicago Blues Master Maurice John Vaughn in 1995 on a few gigs together. Maurice decided Fred's band would be his backing band everytime he wouldn't fly his own. They became closed friends, recorded 2 albums together and still hit today the road all over Europe & Africa. In 1997 Fred was hired by Lil Ed & the Blues Imperials in Chicago's clubs and began working with Texas Blues Legend, the great and regrete Joe "Guitar" Hughes. In 2009 he played the Chicago Blues Festival with Tre & the BluesKnights feat.uring Lady Kat. He's also been on tour with  Donald Ray Johnson, Zora Young, B.J. Emery, Detroit Junior, Terry Bean, Shirley Johnson, Shanna Waterstown,  Eddie Taylor Jr, True Praise (New-York Gospel), Sylvia Howard, and king of Senegaesel Mbalax  Sallam Diallo . A very special showmen with a deep feeling and high energy shares an unshakeable love for the Blues with a reminiscence of every big name he worked with. Fred enjoys blowing the Sonny Terry's "Whoopin'" as well as scatin' in the way of Georges Benson or doin' the John Lee Hooker stompin' and talkin'. He's crooner's vocal, his magic touch on the Guitar and his flavoured Harmonica will touch your heart!
